Palace Convetion Anhembi – City of Sao Paulo  Brazil

Brazil is hosting the World Sterilization Congress. The SOBECC will be responsible for organizing the next 11th World Sterilization Congress and the 7th International Symposium of Sterilization and Hospital Infection Control from July 30 to August 1, 2010. Brazil has been chosen to host the events through an online poll. This year , the World Sterilization Congress will be taking place in Greece in October.

We are happy and proud to announce this unique achievement in the history  of our association since it shows we were the ones that had the best proposal among all the other countries that took part in the dispute.

Bringing this important event to Brazil highlights our efforts to consolidate the work developed in the Surgical Center, Anesthetic Recovery and Material Supply Center areas within ethical guidelines and our continual goal to meet international standards and help improving the Brazilian Health Care System.

The event will bring together well known national and international researchers from various public and private Health Institutions that will be dealing with issues that are relevant to the area.

SOBECC highlights the importance of upgrading educational and technological programs related to service rendering. Therefore, the institution wishes to convey the most recent information in the market on how the work has been done at Main Material Centers and Sterilization, on rendering assistance to patients and on the future of the work in the area. It has been able to count on the active participation of all Health professionals that are involved in the prevention and control of infections to do so. However, it is mandatory that the Nursing team be updated and prepared to develop actions to prevent and control this problem for the full success of this initiative.

This is what the SOBECC’s World Sterilization Congress and the 7th International Symposium of Sterilization and Hospital Infection Control intend to promote as they stimulate debates and contribute to professional growth once more.

Start writing your papers for poster presentation . The deadline for submitting abstracts is March 15th, 2010.

We shall be releasing guidelines on how you can send your work soon.
